Riverside Barkery started with a simple belief: our dogs deserve better.

Like so many pet parents, I was frustrated by the long ingredient lists on store-bought treats—filled with preservatives, fillers, and things I couldn't even pronounce. But for us, it became even more personal.

Two of our dogs struggled with environmental allergies, which led to constant itching, discomfort, and more trips to the veterinary dermatologist than we ever expected. Between the stress on them and the rising cost of treatments and specialty care, I knew something needed to change—starting with what they were eating every day.

So I started baking.

What began as a way to control exactly what went into their treats—simple, clean, and nourishing ingredients—quickly made a difference. And after seeing how much our dogs loved them (and how much better we felt giving them), I knew I had created something worth sharing.
